I felt like such a California girl while shooting this look with my aviators, sweatshirt, ripped shirts and sandals. I've been here not even a year and I've got that California vibe on lock down. Haha!
How stinkin cute is this tee!? It's gonna be the perfect transitional piece from summer to fall. It's lightweight to keep you warm during the cool summer nights and not too hot for the early fall days. It runs pretty true to size, maybe a little bit snug. I got a Small and it fits I just wish it was a little bigger. I typically like my sweatshirts/longsleeves cozier so if you're wanting that type of fit I would go up a size or two. So a little about the brand, Preston Fox: they're women's fashion retailer based in Oceanside, California which is like 20 minutes from my house. They were founded by Steph and Laura in 2015 as a mobile boutique and trunk show to bring quality, carefully curated, affordable and super fashionable pieces to San Diego. Their website launched just this year and they want to spread the #FoxLife lifestyle. A Preston Fox girl is independent, savvy and intelligent. She loves simple silhouettes but is never afraid to pair her edgy side with her favorite basics. She loves friendships, new places and lots of coffee.
They followed me on Instagram and after scrolling through their feed I knew I wanted to work with them. I love that they are a local California company/brand and I LOVE supporting local businesses, especially when they are run by two fabulous ladies who have a passion for empowering women! I love their mantra and brand aesthetic and am so thankful they said yes to collaborating with me!
