SNEAK PEEK: Catrice Cosmetics Denim Divine SS16 (April - May)

I do love a good sneak peek at cosmetic ranges before they launch!
This is the new Catrice cosmetics collection, Denim Divine which is due into stores in Ireland in April. Its a limited edition product range though so it will only be available until mid May. The entire collection is based around the iconic fabric of denim. If you look closely, all the packaging or products have the texture of denim factored into the product.

'Jeans – a living fashion legend. From the robust worker’s trousers of the 19th century to today’s universal look. Jeans have consistently adapted to the contemporary movements over the past 50 years and have therefore become one of the social must-haves.

No other fabric is as versatile and is used by designers as often as denim. The runway pictures of the summer collections confirm that jumpsuits, tight-fitting denim dresses combined with blue jeans are the trends of the season. The new Limited Edition “Denim Divine” by CATRICE completes the look with matching beauty products.

Summery make-up highlights in elegant, rosé-gold packaging offer attractive bronzing products as well as a wide colour palette ranging from midnight blue to soft nude and brown tones to bold, fresh red and coral nuances. The absolute eye-catchers of the collection include the Eye Shadow Palette with six powder eye shadows and a Bronzer with a unique jeans structure.'
The stand out products for me are the bronzer (the Catrice bronzer has replaced my beloved MAC bronzer and I really recommend it), the indigo blue liner and the collection of nail varnishes in a range of shades.
The products are available at pharmacies and also, Pennys from April to mid May.
The collection is,  as usual with Catrice, extremely good value. The nail varnishes are €3.50 and the bronzer is €5.50. In fact the most expensive item is the palette at €7.95 but considering that you get a good selection of shades, that is great value. In fact, the liner at €3.50 is a great way of trying the new blue trend for SS16. In fact, I think I might even attempt to do a blue shadow look myself this week. I'm feeling brave!
